Convert address to coordinates
The location calculator converts an address or place name into geographic coordinates. Results are shown as decimal degrees, for example 52.520008 for latitude and 13.404954 for longitude. If you enter coordinates directly, the closest matching address is resolved as well.
What are these coordinates useful for?
- Location QR codes with a `geo:` payload
- Map links for flyers, notices and PDF documents
- Entries in spreadsheets, CMS systems or local directories
How to use latitude and longitude correctly
Latitude describes the north-south position, longitude the east-west position. For QR codes, this format is usually enough: geo:Latitude,Longitude.
Create a location QR code
After calculating, you can use the values in the QR code generator or in the QR code with logo tool as a location. The button Use geo payload opens the generator and automatically fills the location fields.
Map and address data can vary slightly by source. Check important print data before publishing.
